Accessibility
Accessibility
HaloWake is designed so its common wake, sound, haptic, nap, statistics, and settings tasks can be understood and operated without relying on the dawn animation alone.
Assistive technology
Controls include spoken labels, values, selected states, and actions for VoiceOver and Voice Control. Drag-based controls such as the wake-stop slider, color spectrum, sound intensity, and nap-duration dial also provide accessibility actions that do not require dragging.
Text size
HaloWake uses Dynamic Type scaling. Sheets expand and scroll at accessibility text sizes, and the home wake details reflow vertically when larger text needs more room.
Motion
When Reduce Motion is enabled in iPhone Settings, HaloWake removes the launch movement and animated dawn mesh used by the common wake and nap experiences. Essential progress remains available through text, time, sound, and haptics.
Appearance
Version 1.0 uses a light interface. Status is communicated with text, symbols, and selected-state information in addition to color. HaloWake does not currently claim a dark-interface accessibility label.
Contact
If an accessibility need prevents you from setting, testing, or stopping a wake, email hello@twinklingreality.com. Include the iPhone model, iOS version, accessibility feature in use, and the screen where the problem occurred.
